National CAD Standard Task Teams–V6
The following are the Members and Task Team Charges of the Version 6 Standing and Ad Hoc Task Teams.
Standing Task Teams (3)
Standing task teams have as their primary responsibility oversight of a particular subset of the existing content of the NCS. The term of individual standing task team members is concurrent with and expires upon the completion of each revision cycle of the NCS.
NCS CAD Layer Guidelines Task Team (CLG TT)
The purpose of the NCS CAD Layer Guidelines Task Team (CLG TT) is to serve as the reviewing agent for all proposals to add, amend, or delete items from the NCS CAD Layer Guidelines (CLG) module of the United States National CAD Standard® (NCS).

NCS Symbols Task Team (SMB TT)
The purpose of the NCS Symbols Task Team (SMB TT) is to serve as the reviewing agent for all proposals to add, amend, or delete items from the Uniform Drawing System™ (UDS) Module 6 of the United States National CAD Standard® (NCS). This task team will maintain the library of symbols currently provided by the NCS as well as create additional content as required for BIM and other software platforms.

AD-HOC TASK TEAMS (3)
Ad-Hoc task teams are formed to investigate, explore or address specific matters. The Steering Committee provides each ad-hoc task team with a specific charge, timetable, and expected deliverable. Typical deliverable may include, but are not necessarily limited to, a report, recommendations for addition of new or removal of existing modules, or development of a new module for incorporation into the NCS by ballot.
NCS Ad Hoc BIM Task Team (BIM AHTT)
The purpose of the NCS Building Information Model Ad Hoc Task Team (BIM AHTT) is to determine what role the United States National CAD Standard® (NCS) should play in the process of Building Information Model (BIM).This team will determine whether deficiencies exist in the NCS that are required by people implementing BIM on projects.

NCS Ad Hoc Compliance Task Team (CP AHTT)
The purpose of the NCS Compliance Ad Hoc Task Team (CP AHTT) is to determine the need for a means to measure various levels of United States National CAD Standard® (NCS) compliance. Upon determining the need, establish a method of measure and define the various degrees of measure.
